About the Program
The Accelerate Small Business Grant Program is providing matched funding of up to $10,000 for eligible businesses. The funding can be used to engage mentors, coaches, specialist consultants or an advisory board for a period of 6 to 12 months.
To be eligible for the grant, the consultant must work with you, one on one and provide a tailored solution, specific to your business to maximise growth.
Are you eligible?
Businesses must be financially sound and have the potential for high growth in the next two years. A minimum increase of 20%, in either revenue or employee numbers, is how high growth is defined.
Additionally, the business must:
- Have a trading history of a minimum of three years at the time of applying for the grant
- Have a minimum turnover of $500,000 in the previous 12 months
- Have fewer than 20 employees at the time of applying for the grant
- Have an ABN and be registered for GST
- Have Queensland head office or significant Queensland operations
- Have competitive opportunities in domestic or international markets
- Be experiencing growth and have clearly defined high-growth and employment opportunities
- Declare if any owners or directors of the business are an undischarged bankrupt or insolvent
